Pink Woven Hat

Spread the love

Last time, I shared to you that embarked on a project, and that is to make an Egyptian princess headdress for Dindin in my entry, Weaving a Hat. Well needless to say, it is finally done! And here is Princess Dindin trying on her new hat. She keeps holding it because she’s afraid that it may fall! haha

She likes it so much that even when we went to pick up her grandparents from the airport, she wore it. I really hope that we could do more things like this. Hmmmm….why not make a woven bag next, huh? hihihi I like this! I kinda feel good about this because I have no background in weaving and I just kind of looped and intertwined this plastic twine to come up with this.

The hat is made of white plastic twine and the beads are actually crystal beads painted in pink. I preferred the crystal beads because they are heavy and gave the plastic twine some tension. I used a glue gun to stick the beads in place. 😀
