Started Christmas Shopping Last Night

My family and I already started our Christmas shopping for kids gifts last night.

Actually, we already have gifts for most of our family members. But we did not buy for the kids because we thought that we will give them something else. But since we have no time to make them, we bought some stuff last night and we were happy that we did. We found some unique items that the kids will surely like. And they were not that expensive, so at least we did not go out as paupers from the toy store.

And the good thing is, we got the toys all at one place! Such a happy time shopping!

Anyway, that will keep Dindin and I busy wrapping for the next few days. Tomorrow is already December 1, so that means we just have 25 more days to go till Christmas! But we will have to give the gifts earlier than December 25 so we better start wrapping! LOL

Remote Controlled Toys are Great Christmas Gifts

Monster RC Truck

Your boy will surely like this Monster RC Truck for Christmas.

When it comes to choosing Christmas gifts, many people find it easy to buy gifts for girls. There are just so many cute stuff available in stores that it is easy to pick out anything. As long as it is cute, it would surely be appreciated by girls.

But when it comes to boys, adults will have to stop and think what will best suit the little ones. There are not really a lot of choices and sometimes, the really nice ones can be really expensive.

Perhaps, the best advice I can give you is to choose remote controlled toys. Boys love action and role-playing games that they will surely like monster rc trucks, rc cars, and rc helicopters. I have seen the merchandisers in stores demonstrate these rc toys and people just gather to watch.

Indeed remote controlled toys never fail to amaze. So if you are thinking what to buy your son or godchildren or nephews this Christmas, then think RC. The boys will really be happy with these toys.

Mixi Chix–The New Dolls and Doll House

Mixi Chix dolls

Mixi Chix dolls--from left to right, Lemon, Blueberry, and Raspberry

Dindin’s ninoy Philip was here last week for a visit and he brought home this nice gift for her–Mixi Chix! This is actually the first time I met these girls so here is a primer about them. teehee

These are cute rubber or plastic dolls that when sprayed with water, they stick together. The dolls actually came as separate parts–the body along with the blouse is one part, the pants are another part, while the shoes are also another. The head is a moving part so they are still interchangeable.

So if you prefer, you can play with them as different pieces and just mix and match them together. But after a while, we got tired and so we sprayed water on them to make them stick and become three distinct dolls. Here are their names–Lemon (yellow hair), Blueberry (blue hair), and Raspberry (dark pink hair).

They came with a doll house and furniture as well as a glitter shower. You can put the girls one by one in the glitter shower, spray them with water, and then “shower” them with glitters! That would make them extra sparkly. The furniture came with beads of different colors. You have the option of beautifying the fixtures in the house with these beads. All we have to do is to spray water on the surfaces and the beads will stick on them.

The set comes with an atomizer that we can fill up with water. But once the items are stuck, they are permanent, or at least that’s what we think because separating them is not in the instruction.

Anyway, we are just playing with the dolls and the dollhouse now but I decided to keep the beads and the glitter until Dindin is old enough to assemble them herself. For now, we are enjoying the dolls and the fixtures. Dindin especially likes the potty, where she also lets her Tinkerbell doll do her peepee and poopoo. haha

I have not seen Mixi Chix here yet. Ninoy Philip lives in Singapore and has brought it from there. Thank you, Ninoy Philip!
