G.P. — Full-time motherhood is not an easy task. And it doesn’t get easier if you are juggling time between the kids and work for work at home moms. You have to work and at the same time keep the other ear and eye open for the shenanigans that your kids are up to. Yeah, that’s my life, especially with two young children and homeschooling…and gardening…and crafting. haha But that’s beside the story.

But since late last year, I started going to the gym. I decided that I needed to take charge of my health because my kids are still young and I also need to keep up with their energy. I have lost some weight and I felt better, too. I took advantage of the fact that my part-time sitter/helper only comes during early evenings, so I leave home around 5:30pm for my 1.5 hour workout.

Yes, I have a pretty hectic schedule. Upon waking up, my mind and hands are abuzz with work. I have so many things to think about. So how do I manage? That is why I schedule my grocery trips, too. Only twice a month for us. Allows me to budget what we need within a 2-week period. Saves time and gas going to the supermarket, too.

And then there comes the question of shopping for outfits. From time to time, I would need new clothes for special occasions. Though my schedule is pretty hectic, I always find time to do my online shopping at ZALORA. I use my phone sometimes to browse through their selections while I am lying down breastfeeding my toddler. And almost always, I find something that I like that fits me and my budget. Yeah, it is quite hard to find something that would look good on me because of my rather not-so-average physique. But thankfully, the Zalora website provides ways and means for you to imagine if something looks good on you. So hooray!

So that’s my life. At least for now. I’m not complaining. Just saying. And I know that this won’t last forever. Enjoying it while it lasts.
