I have decided to make a blog entry about my conversations with Dindin. I will just update this from time to time with new and interesting conversations with her.
July 19, 2010 – afterno0n
We browsed through FB when Dindin Lo said, “A-ku.” So we looked for her A-ku”s profile pictures and she kept saying, “A-ku” every time I clicked on a new pic. When we got to the pic where A-ku was wearing shades, Dindin said, “Bah.” When we got to Aku’s pic with an arcade game, she said, “Oh.”
July 18, 2010 – lunchtime
We are having our Sunday family lunch when we got to talking about SM. I was carrying Dindin Lo and she was hugging me coz she is still sick. She could barely speak audibly coz she was so tired of coughing the whole day yesterday and the whole night last night.
Mama: Ay Baby, sorry we can’t go out. YOu …have to rest because you’re still sick.
Dindin: San-o pa?

Dindin says: bob, boat, hat, head, rather clearly. These are her new words as of today. She can already identify most letters and numbers. She reads fliers, packaging, even jeepney routes.
