Well, our Dindin’s birthday is nearing. Because we attended her Tita Gemma’s 30th birthday bash, we happened to pass by D’Bakers at Villamonte and decided to order Dindin’s first birthday cake.

Oh, from Tita Jane’s creations, we had so many nice designs to choose from. Finally, we decided on a fairy design with flowers. So girly and colorful!!! I will share some pixes here when the time comes.

I was just so excited to choose our daughter’s first birthday cake. I asked Dennis if we could pass by D’Bakers and already choose the cake because if I had my way, I had been there already on the first week of the month. lol The mom is more excited. I guess moms are just like that. Yesterday, I was talking to Daphne about Baby Gianna’s party and she was also very excited with the prospect of holding a Strawberry Shortcake birthday party for Gianna. I also told her that D’Bakers has a nice Strawberry Shortcake birthday cake design.

So anyway, I have ordered the cake, reserved the venue and the catering, ordered the dessert, and maybe next week, I will order the balloons. We went to Toys R Us at Robinsons Place Bacolod last time to fill up the registry, but when I called to follow up, they seemed to have lost the form. Sigh…I hope not, because I reserved some items there that even if not bought for Dindin, we will still buy them for her.

Actually, we did not really want to have a registry. I get excited to get gifts that are stuff that we really need or want to buy, even if the person did not know that we want it. I just feel that God provides for us this way and I get excited opening presents because of this. I feel that each gift is God’s appointed.  But well, this time, we get a 5% discount on the stuff at Toys R Us if we get registered, so okay. Even if we don’t receive them, we can buy them at discounted rates.
