The Cetaphil Antibacterial Soap, which is labeled Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar for dry, sensitive skin, was sent to me a couple of months back. I was soooo excited to try it because I didn’t know that Cetaphil had a product like this. I was only familiar with their gentle cleanser.
At that time, my face was very oily and I had unsightly breakouts due to my pregnancy hormones. I cut the bar in half, used half and kept the other half because I planned to use it on my face only. The first time I used it, I instantly fell in love with it.
Unlike other antibacterial soaps, it was gentle on the skin. It did not leave a dry, sensitive, irritated feeling after scrubbing the face for a couple of minutes. And it smelled really good. It is not perfumed but it has a prurient scent, much like a baby’s, that I really love. So sometimes, I also use it on my body because I like the way I smell afterwards. I could write a review immediately because I want to know the efficacy of the product.
After about a month and half of using it, I am still raving about it. My face has no more bumps and it looks clearer that some people have already noticed the changed. The half bar took me almost a month to finish, after all, I used it mostly on my face only, so it is worth it.
The Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar retails at P431 at Rose Pharmacy. It is also good for those with sensitive skin. I really love this product because it eliminated my pimples even without the use of astringent. I use strong astringents because that is the only way I know that could control the oils and the breakouts on my face. But since my doctor forbade the astringent while I am pregnant, I am happy to have found Cetaphil Antibacterial Gentle Cleansing Bar.
