When the ExpoMom 2016 by Mommy Mundo was held here in Bacolod a couple of months ago, one of their sponsors was Belo Baby. Honestly, that was my first encounter with the brand. While I knew about Belo beauty products, I did not know that they went on to produce a line specifically for babies.
Discovering Belo Baby
So I bought a Belo Baby set, which consisted of a hair and body wash, face and body lotion, bar soap, and cologne. I chose the pink variant called Sweet Snuggle. I also got some little sample bottles of their products that came with my media kit.
Finally, I got to try them on the kids. One word that I can use to describe them: luxurious. The body wash and the lotion are thick and creamy that if it were food, they would be delicious. They are not very sudsy, which tells me that they are not full of harmful chemicals. They are pure and natural and safe, especially for babies’ sensitive skins. But since I don’t have a baby anymore, I let my 7-year-old and my toddler use them for their bodies. They have rather dry skin and the moisturizing effect of the baby wash and the lotion are perfect for them. I even tried the bar soap on my legs and arms because I have dry skin there, too, and I love its moisturizing effect.

Belo Baby Lotion
These products were really designed for babies so they only have all-natural ingredients and no harsh chemicals. So for my kids who are very active and who get sweaty heads, the wash cannot exactly remove the sweat and the smell that comes with it. So I use a different brand of organic shampoo on them. But that is still fine.
Active Ingredients in Belo Baby Bath and Body
These are the three main ingredients of the bath and body wash and the face and body lotion.
Cocoa Butter. It contains antioxidant qualities that protect the skin from the outside. It keeps the baby’s skin healthy by strengthening as well as deeply moisturizing it. With its anti-inflammatory properties, cocoa butter also helps relieve common skin irritations like rashes.
Shea Butter. This has long been known as super food for the skin as well as the hair. Shea butter heals, protects, nourishes, and moisturizes skin from damage and eventual dryness. Because it is natural, gentle, and soft, it is suitable for all skin types, most especially the delicate and sensitive skin of babies. It also naturally heals common skin conditions of babies like eczema and diaper rash.
Sweet Almond Oil. It has the ability to lock the moisture into the baby’s skin. It is also a good exfoliator to help remove dead skin cells and stimulate the development of healthier skin. It is generally safe for all skin types, most especially your baby’s delicate.
As for the colognes, these are clinically proven to be mild on the skin. And we super love the pink variant!
Belo Baby products are available on their website, http://www.belobaby.ph/, and in leading supermarkets nationwide. And the good thing is, they are very affordable, unlike other premium baby products. You get the best products for your baby at prices that are easy on your pocket. Definitely <3
